Monthy Look-Ahead: April!

Hi,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. Since today is the last day of March, it’s time for my monthly look-ahead! YAAAAY! Actually it’s the second to last day of March but this post goes up tomorrow. Check out me being organised with the blog! 😉

Although, now that I think about it April will definitely not be too eventful… We’ll see how that turns out! 😀

Buying Some New Jeans

So, recently, I’ve decided that I need some new jeans. At some point in the time off school that I have, I’ll probably head out to the town centre and into Primark for some new ones. But that does mean that some of my money is gone… *cries* I was thinking maybe some black ones? Since I haven’t ever owned black jeans, and I feel like all girls should do… If you’re into jeans. Plus that means I can finally wear my denim jacket! I’ve owned one for probably over a year and haven’t worn it because of the trauma of double denim… 😀

Finishing Easter Eggs

As I’m guessing you all know, it was Easter last Sunday, and I got four eggs. Two of which have been eaten. I love chocolate SO much so having loads is amazing and I love it very much. Although it does mean that in April I’ll have probably finished both those and my birthday chocolates… Unless I go on chocolate hiatus for a month! Which probably won’t happen! It’ll get eaten at some point anyway!

Clay Face Mask

I have a few face masks as of right now, and one of them is made of clay? You can feel how much harder it feels through the packaging, and I’m not sure how that’s going to work on my skin, but I must say, I’m very excited to try it out! Maybe at the weekend!

*1 hour later*

Okay so I just took a little break, had a shower and put on a facemask and I’m back now. And no, it isn’t the clay one; I thought I’d save that for April, so it can be in my monthly look ahead today. If you’re interested, this one is called the Passion Peel-Off and it smells amazing ❤

Penny’s Birthday

So, sometime in April is Penny’s birthday, kind of obvious, and as you may know, I really love other people’s birthdays, probably more so than my own because I don’t have to open presents and face the trauma of ‘Oh no what if I don’t like it’. But it does mean that I have to find a present, which I am useless at….

Hazelnut Hot Chocolate from Starbucks

If you know me, then you’ll know that I live for hazelnut chocolates. And I love Starbucks (not quite as much as Costa) and the hot chocolate from there. So, when I was away for a few days a few months ago, I was in a Starbucks, and noticed that they make Hazelnut Hot Chocolates. By that point, I had already paid for a plain one so I couldn’t change it, but hopefully I’ll get one next time! And I think we’ll be going soon! XD

That’s everything that I can think of from the top of my head. I know, not very eventful, but I guess we’ll see how it turns out? Here’s to April!

What are you looking forward to in April?

Thank you SO much for reading! Make sure to like and follow if you like my blog and leave any thoughts or suggestions in the comments!

P.S. I literally cannot move my face right now because the face mask has dried 😉

MARCH FAVOURITES

Hi,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. As most of you, or those that have been here for over a month, will know, I do a monthly favourites post, which I love to do very much. And since today is almost the end of March, I thought I would write it now!

First of all, I am very sorry for missing the last two post days…. With Sunday being Easter, it was really difficult to squeeze in any time to blog, with all the family stuff going on and whatnot. And yesterday, the WiFi was dodgy, and everyone was upstairs… Which obviously makes blogging in secret kind of difficult… So today will be my post that should have been written for yesterday! Just in case you don’t already, following me on twitter (@justme292929) will mean that you get told when I am not going to be posting, and  any other random things that are happening in my life.

So at this point, you all know that it’s been my birthday before now since a lot of these are birthday presents… 🙂

Okay I know I’ve been rambling forever, so here we go!

Fangirl – Rainbow Rowell

This was something I got for my birthday. It’s a book, if you didn’t already know. It’s very relatable, extremely adorable, very emotionally intense (it makes me ship Cath and Levi so much) and I love the pictures on the inside cover. It’s so cute. If you aren’t someone that reads a lot, I would definitely recommend this book, because it isn’t written as creatively (with long words and confusing sentences) as some other books are.

Infinity Lost – S. Harrison

This is another amazing book that I received for my birthday. Being the first book of a trilogy, it really does a good job of hooking you in. I would say that this one is quite the opposite to Fangirl, although I loved it nonetheless. This one is definitely very intense, and so unpredictable, which is one of the reasons I love it so much. As of now, I’m pondering whether to spend £8.99 on book two….  And I’m not the type who enjoys spending my own money… 😉

Kit Kats

I know this is a totally random one to throw in here, but I always have oddball ones floating around, right? I mean, once it was bagels, then pancakes – now Kit Kats! So, since it was Easter on Sunday, one of the Easter eggs I got was a Kit Kat one. For some reason, since I was little, I dug myself into a hole of “I don’t like Kit Kats” So I guess since then I’ve just given my Kit Kats to other people? I don’t remember eating many in my life. Anyways, I tried the Kit Kat Crunchy that came with the Easter egg and it was actually really tasty… Lesson learned: Don’t trust your younger self’s assumptions ❤

The Vamps

Never in my life did I think I’d be saying this. If you showed this to a 10 year old me, I’d have physically recoiled and been utterly disgusted. But I’ve been listening to The Vamps… Quite a lot… It started in late February, when they were on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and it’s still going now. Some of my favourites are Shout About It, Volcano, and Brad’s cover of Hallelujah. So there you guys have it, I have been listening to a band, of boys. :O

Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway

As I mentioned in the above one, I watch Ant and Dec. I’m not sure if it’s finished or not yet though…? Anyways, it’s really funny, although nothing will ever top when they had Louis Walsh on a couple of years ago. Find it on youtube! It’s hilarious! But yeah, so I have been loving that every week!

Face Masks

I hadn’t used a face mask in so long, until about a few weeks ago. It was pale blue, and I think it was called dead sea? 7th Heaven are a great face mask company thing if you don’t already! The one I used was made out of stuff from the dead sea, which I thought was quite interesting, and strange to have on my face. I’d type some of the ingredients but the packaging is in the bin… :/ Anyways, if you’re getting a face mask, I’d get one that peels off because the others can be a little difficult!

Once Upon A Time Season 5B

As you may know, OUAT returned for the second half of the fifth season on the 6th March. I was beyond excited, and needed my fill of OUAT desperately. Every episode gets better than the last and it’s getting very intense on my emotions – yes I have cried a lil bit on the last two episodes… It isn’t even anything really sad; I’m just emotionally connected to these characters! NOBODY UNDERSTANDS! RUMPLE 😥 Anyways, it has been awesome, and I can’t wait for more episodes!

And that is some of the things I have been loving in March! I’ll have my April look-ahead on Thursday, which I am very-much excited for!

Thank you SO much for reading! Make sure to like and follow if you like my blog and leave any thoughts or suggestions in the comments!

What have you been enjoying this March??

SEE YOU ON THURSDAY! 😀

Will Power

Hi,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. First of all, as a disclaimer, I’m just warning you guys for any typos… I’m writing this post from my phone while I’m babysitting my brother and sister. And if any words seem completely wrong, it’s probably autocorrect. Disclaimer done, now for the post.

Today, I wanted to talk about Will Power, which you probably guessed from the title… I know, it’s a strange thing to blog  about, and quite random at that, but I’ve been thinking about it lately.

So, a couple weeks a go, I had eaten way too much chocolate. And I decided to give it up for 3 days. At the time, 3 days seemed like an eternity. The first day was fine. However the second night I gave in. I ate the chocolate. So the third day was pointless.

But on that third day, I told myself that I wouldn’t eat chocolate for a week. A week might seem unrealistic when I couldn’t get further than a day without diving into the bag of chocolate at the back of my bed. And at the time, it did seem unrealistic.

I realised, that I needed a reason to stop eating all of the chocolate. Not just “you’ll get loads of spots”… So I came up with something. I won’t give away what it was exactly, because it’s probably a bit weird.

My point is, that after having a reason not to eat chocolate for a week, and a reason that meant something to me, I didn’t give in. I could resist the cravings. And after 3 or 4 days, I didn’t even feel like I had to eaAlso, my reason thing worked (it happened in real life) which kind of creeped me out…

You might be kind of confused at why I’m talking about this and will power, and now I’ll explain.

The definition of will power is:

“Control deliberately exerted to do something or to restrain one’s own impulses.”

I feel like, if you can really overcome something that you want to do, even if it’s as small as not pigging out on chocolate, it makes you stronger mentally. Controlling what you do is a good thing, and it has to start somewhere. So, if you feel like it, maybe try to stretch that control over yourself and see how far you can go. Obviously don’t starve yourself or anything but maybe start something? And try to stick to it?

Writing is Powerful

Hi,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. So, this post will probably be a little shorter than normal, but I just wanted to discuss something with you all.

Do you ever write creatively to get your emotions out?

I hadn’t done before, but well, it’s probably best to show you…

Space slowly narrowing, forcing the increase of your heart rate. Nothing is really changing, but so much feels different. Pressure squeezes your hands into fists, nails delving into your clammy palms, knuckles drained lifeless. Layers of echoing sounds stack up, towering over you until they morph into one. One intimidating, formidable sphere, stalking your most miniscule twitches.

Fight or flight. Neither will suffice. Even if you could try. Fighting would be hopeless, as would flight; untamed, unexplained nerves wracking your brain makes it difficult to focus – let alone move for that matter. In an instant you find the weapons to take you to safety: a pen and a worn out notebook. Slowly, the spine-chilling dictator of your anxieties is liquidised and flows from your pen, into words.

First of all, I know I’m not the best writer…. I don’t write that often, outside of school which is probably why.

If you didn’t realise, I was trying to describe how I felt, which at the time, was quite claustrophobic and anxious for not much of a reason. I didn’t know why I felt like that, but It wasn’t making me happy. So, I decided to try and write. Obviously, I wasn’t trying to write a best selling novel, or whack Shakespeare off the board – I just wanted to get my emotions out.

The point of this post is, that after writing that, I felt so much better. I don’t know if it was a psychological thing, because I was writing about the feelings going away, but somehow it helped. After all of that, I felt much happier, much less squashed, and much more like me.

So, if you ever find yourself in a place where your emotions aren’t feeling great, maybe you could have a go at writing? If it worked for me, there’s a possibility it could work for you! Trust me, the 5-10 minutes I spent writing that were SO worth the hours of feeling better afterwards!

Let me know if you guys do this sort of thing?

Thank you SO much for reading! Make sure to like and follow if you like my blog and leave any thoughts or suggestions in the comments!

The Spirit Animal Award

Hello,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. Today I’ll be doing the Spirit Animal Award post. I took way too long to finally get this post out, because I actually only noticed I’d been nominated a few days ago. First of all, thank you very much to keelin, for nominating me! 😀 Check out her blog! It’s so pretty and I’m sure you’ll love it! ❤

Now, onto the rules!

The rules:

  1. Post the award picture on your blog.
  2. Write a short paragraph about yourself and what your blog means to you.
  3. If you could be any animal, what would you be?
  4. Pick ten nominees.

I’m not sure if the picture worked, but I tried to upload it?

So, my ‘short paragraph’…

This is my blog, which I’m guessing you know. I’m an anonymous blogger, living in the UK. If you asked my friends, they’d probably say I’m smart, optimistic and a crazy fangirl. Some of the things I love are: TV shows, Taylor Swift, chocolate (especially the lindt ones!) Captain Hook (and Peter Pan for that matter) and creepily stalking my crush on the twitter. *thumbs up!* My blog, Just Average Teen Me, is quite a big part of my life, and I guess one of my biggest secrets, along with all the stuff I leak out all over it to the world….. REGRETS EVERYWHERE! Anyway, on my blog, I can be myself, ask for advice, and just have a good ol’ chat with you guys! So, yeah. There’s my little paragraph! 😀

Now, if I could be any animal….. HMMMMMMMMMM…. I’m actually not quite sure. I like to see it as a patronus kind of thing (I see you Harry Potter geeks out there!). Just in case you don’t know, a patronus is the animal that comes out of a wizard’s wand. Not a real, physical animal. It’s kind of like a ghost? Just watch Harry Potter and you’ll get what I mean. So, if I was a wizard (Pffft I already am), my patronus would probably be a panda. I’m not completely sure why I just came up with that, but I guess they’re quite gentle and peaceful and probably secretly insane. 😀

Now for the nominees! I won’t do all 10, because 10 is a lot! I find that if I’m always nominating so many people, it’s always the same people that get nominated! So, I’ll narrow it down and nominate 3 instead.

  1. thesmallquietone
  2. Elli Murrell
  3. Through Daisy’s Eyes

There you have it! My nominations!

Thank you SO much for reading! Make sure to like and follow if you like my blog and leave any thoughts or suggestions in the comments!

Body Confidence

Hi,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. Today I wanted to talk about something that I’m pretty sure all girls (and maybe boys) will run into at some point in their life – Body Confidence.

As a teenage girl, there is a lot of pressure to look perfect, and attractive to the guys, for some girls anyway. I’ve found that I’m not in that kind of group of people. But that doesn’t mean that I might sometimes feel uncomfortable in my own body. The constant push of the media is definitely a bad thing. Photoshop annihilates the real appearance of a beautiful person, and replaces it with something fake. Celebrities everywhere are having surgery to change how they look.

For me, body confidence has never been too much of an issue, although I am what some might describe as not very top heavy. But that doesn’t matter. What does matter, is that I am fine with that.

Ask yourself, if everyone looked the same, would there be such thing as beauty?

Diversity is what makes us stand out. What makes us different. What makes us beautiful. My eyes are a mix of blue and green, which I haven’t seen in too many people around me; it makes me different. I also have very long hair. Embrace the things that make you you. And realise that although you might feel like parts of you aren’t ‘famous model’ level, somebody will see you like that. Even the so-called most beautiful people in the world will have insecurities, things they don’t like. Just like you.

Don’t let people tell you that you’re not perfect, because it’s your imperfections that make you perfect! Your beautiful personality outshines their ugly one! Nobody has any right to make you feel bad in yourself. Nobody.

Makeup can boost your confidence. And that should be why you wear it. It’s certainly why I do. But if you’re wearing makeup to look better for someone else, you might want to rethink. If a person really likes you, they’ll like you for the natural you. Flaws and all.

Basically, the point of this post is that you should be comfortable as you are, no matter how difficult it is sometimes. Wear the clothes you love. Go to the places you love. And love you!

A quote that I love is:

“You are imperfect. Permanently and inevitably flawed. And you are beautiful!”

-Amy Bloom

To end this post, I would love it if you commented something that you like about YOUR body! Not what you get the most compliments about; what you like the best about you.

Thank you SO much for reading! Make sure to like and follow if you like my blog and leave any thoughts or suggestions in the comments (along with your favourite aspect of yourself!)

My 9-Year-Old Diary

Hi,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. When I was deciding on a post to write, I know, not a good idea when it’s almost 8 at night and the post is supposed to be up tonight…. I was reading and lost track of time. Anyways, I thought it would be funny to go through my diary from when I was 9. Ish.

*Disclaimer: If anything is spelled wrong, or my grammar is terrible, it’s because I’m typing this exactly as it says on the page. Also, I’ll be adding little comments in the present, around little stars like here*

First day of Year 5

Awwww, Don’t Wanna go back to skull. Just woke up so my writing is dogy.

*aren’t we off to a great start! DOGY WRITING EVERYONE!*

My sad.

*even better*

Slept really BAD!

*There were actually 3 crooked underlines, but I can only do one here.*

Still I get to use my new stuff! lol

*And obviously I had my love of stationary back then. Agh I used to say lol way too much 😀 *

I need to walk up TWO LOTS OF STAIRS!!!

*Oh the exercise!! So hard! 😀 *

And that was the first one in the diary! I’ll do quite a few since that one was quite short. Let me find a good one…

Alright, I’ve found quite a long one. Before I start, this one will be coloured, because it is in real life. Also, it took quite the eye straining to see some of the colours!

Today wasn’t the best day

*Oh dear, what now…*

But maths was suprisingly good. We played stand up bingo! It was really fun!

*I’ll be honest, I have absolutely no clue what ‘Stand up Bingo’ is, but apparently I enjoyed it….*

We were ment to have Mrs *insert French teacher’s name here* but she had a bad eye.

*Of course she did*

I really like my gel minis. They are wicked!

*OOOOOOOOOOOOH NOOOOOOO So, when I was about this age, I had a strange obsession with the word wicked….. Don’t ask why. It makes me want to coil into a spring and be compressed into a hole and cringe until I die.*

That one was also quite short so I’ll squeeze in just one more!

I think it is really early in the morning. YAWN

*maybe checking the time is a good idea? I mean, what if it’s like 5am or something?*

I stole this fine liner pen of Lakota

*What an absolute rebel. Also, amazing grammar too. Just in case you don’t know, Lakota is my codename for my only big sister.*

Only for a bit.

*Oh well that makes everything fine then. No pun intended.*

Ive changed pens now I got my real pen! My Berol one. Not my Nexus.

*As you can see, I knew my pens pretty well….*

There isn’t anything to do so I’ll get dressed.

And that is the last one I’ll be sharing! If you want, I can do more of these posts! Just let me know if you enjoyed reading, and maybe in the future I can write up another! It’s really fun to go through old things like this, so I’d be more than happy to!

Thank you SO much for reading! Make sure to like and follow if you like my blog and leave any thoughts or suggestions in the comments!

Awkward Things I Do

Hi,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. Today I thought it would be funny to go through some of the awkward things that I do, and see if any of you guys are like me, in the awkwardness department.

If you asked anyone that knows me – and knows me fairly well – they’ll know that awkward is one of my most-used words, and describes me pretty well… I can find any way to make a situation awkward, especially when I’m not trying to.

The first one that popped to my head, is saying yes to everything. I’m not sure why I do this, I think it’s a first reaction/panic thing. But if someone asks me something, normally a teacher or something, I say yes. Sometimes, that makes things a little awkward. Especially if the question didn’t even require a yes/no response. But a lot of the time, it sort of gets me into things I really don’t know what to do with. Take this for example:

Music teacher: There’s a music thing going on and we thought it would be good if you performed there. What do you think?

Me: Yeah, that sounds really good! *walks away*

My brain: WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?!? YOU DON’T PERFORM! Nevermind, I’ll just never bring it up again.

Thankfully, that didn’t end in me performing in any way, shape or form. The teachers never brought it up either. *wipes sweat from forehead*

Another thing I do a lot is just reply in the absolutely most wrong way even possible. A few years ago, my next door neighbour’s little daughter said happy birthday, and my brain malfunctioned and I said “You too” yep. I know. Facepalms everywhere. I wanted to be literally swallowed up into a big gaping hole. And no it wasn’t her birthday too. Just in case you were wondering. 😀

My friends all know, that I’m very guilty of using the ‘Crying/Laughing’ emoji in every situation. Even in times where it definitely is not appropriate. Like last night when Penny sent me a little picture about a homeless man who was about to kill himself but he didn’t and I said I’d already seen it, followed by that emoji….. Well done me. TOTALLY appropriate.

Ha, I also have this thing where I hide the most ridiculous things from everyone. Like braking my hair brush…. Not sure why I had to hide that so much, but I’ve just dug myself into such a big hole. And my razor. It’s an electrical one, but there’s a bit of a break in it, which is probably quite dangerous. I have no clue how it happened, but I have buried myself into not telling anyone…. Just trying not to catch myself on anything…

One that isn’t a very good thing, is that I literally cannot control myself when I’m around someone. So, there is someone that exists, who a few of my friends know about, and when we end up near him, I get way too nervous/excited/I don’t even know. Usually, I’ll laugh way too intensely, sometimes to the point where I’ll just be sat there crying… Yeah…

Another thing that doesn’t work well with the last one, is that I’m constantly putting myself near him. I’ll sit near his table at lunch, or go downstairs on the bus when he’s there. Or, like a couple weeks ago, I went and bought a cake from his cake stall…. Luckily, I wasn’t with my friends so I could hide my emotions, which were bouncing everywhere at the time; he touched my hand. I mean, how much crazier does life get? I was practically hyperventilating afterwards…. FUN! Zero regrets, though! 😀

I fidget a lot, too. Nervous habit. Usually it’s with a jumper sleeve, my hair or my nails… Sometimes I’ll drag out my nail file and occupy myself that way…

The last one, is that I’ll keep some of my interests completely secret. I am actually doing it exactly right now – no not the blogging. For the last few weeks, I’ve been listening to some new music. When I was younger, I always had this thing, where I was completely against boy bands; at the time, my slightly younger sister had an obsession with One Direction. I guess you could say things have changed. By the way, this is the first time I’ve opened up about this anywhere. I’ve been listening to The Vamps. They aren’t really 1D level boyband, but I’ve really been loving their stuff….. And I’ve been hiding that like it’s an accidental pregnancy. 😀

Do you do any of these? And what awkward things have you done?

Thank you SO much for reading! Make sure to like and follow if you like my blog and leave any thoughts or suggestions in the comments!

What is a Friend?

Hi,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. And since the thought poofed into my mind, I thought I’d talk to you guys about how I see friends and friendships.

First of all, I am extremely frustrated right now, because I spent at least 2 hours making a very pretty sim (game) and then it crashed and didn’t save.

Anyways. Let’s get onto the post.

Personally, I find it very difficult to fully trust someone. But by trust, what do we actually mean? There are some things I would trust people with, but others, I never tell anyone. Some people might think that it’s not good to be so untrusting, and secretive I guess you could say, but before you jump to things like that, it’s important to consider what could have happened before.

Earlier in my life, I’ve gone through things that make it difficult for me to trust people, or completely open up to them. Being betrayed or suddenly ignored for someone who you expected to be friends with your whole life, who you have told countless secrets, is bound to leave some sort of impact on you. Letting out those secrets isn’t as easy when the paranoia of people not liking you is always lurking. What if they’re the same?

I found, a friend isn’t someone that you trust. But if it is, then you’re very lucky. The only person I probably trust is Bob. Mainly because he’s told me secrets and I know I can trust him to keep mine. As for my other friends, it kind of terrifies me sometimes, that the truth will slip out to someone else, and then everyone will know. I guess you could call this thing I have some sort of social anxiety but I live with it.

Some people find that a friend doesn’t have to be someone you have known for a long time, but for me, I never know at what point to call someone a friend. Usually, the people that have stuck by me for the longest prove to be my ‘friends’. Bob. He is the person I have known for the longest, and stayed friends with. But I think what makes him my best friend, is that sometimes, we’re apart for almost a year (at one point it was more than a year) because we go to different schools, but when we get back together, it’s like we never had that gap. No awkward silences. Just crazy intense catching up. And I can completely be myself.

Friends don’t have to be in real life either. Take the blogging world for example, I see all of you guys as friends! You’ve helped me with so much stuff, and I can’t think why I shouldn’t see you as my friends!

What do you think?

Thank you SO much for reading! Make sure to like and follow if you like my blog and leave any thoughts or suggestions in the comments!

Desk Tour!

I’M SO SORRY I DID’T GET THIS UP YESTERDAY! I THOUGHT I PUBLISHED IT!

Hi,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. Today I thought would be a good day to experiment, and try something new, with a post that I haven’t really done before. So, I’m guessing you’ve read the title, but I’ll be doing a little tour of my desk! It might not seem very interesting but hopefully it will be.

First of all, I’m someone who basically lives at my desk, whether I’m blogging, doing homework, playing games, watching videos or just lurking on the internet. So it’s kind of messy… But here we go!

Cluttered would be a good way to describe the top of my desk… Basically, I have my laptop on the left of the desk and on the other side is my TV and an iPod docking station (that’s what you call them, right?). The rest is just clutter. So I thought it would be fun to go through it all and make a little list:

  • Tissues
  • Gel pens (green, red and blue)
  • My iPod
  • Tangled headphones
  • Vaseline
  • A Nail file
  • A nail set that the nail file is supposed to be in
  • A Lucid dreaming book
  • 4 water bottles (2 are full, one has been for weeks and I haven’t touched it) 😀
  • A muffin case
  • A pen drive/ memory stick
  • Tatty teddy
  • Multiple clothes tags
  • Gloves
  • Perfume (Taylor Swift but the lid is jammed so I can’t open it…)
  • A French ‘verb wheel’
  • An empty bag of Frazzles
  • A Wispa Gold wrapper

And I think that’s it! For the top part anyway! I should really clean up some of that…

Then we have the bottom part – there’s a floor-sort-of-thing at the bottom of my desk abut 4 inches from the floor. That one isn’t as bad. There’s way less clutter.

  • Harry Potter colouring book
  • Enchanted Forest colouring book
  • A pack of pencils
  • A box of blue inkjoy pens
  • 3 whiteboard markers (green, black and blue)
  • A Talking Tom teddy
  • A framed moving picture of Oleg the meerkat (from Bob)
  • A Christmas present bag that I kind of turned into a bin…. Sorry Penny…
  • A shower/bath set with a shower lily, shower gel and shimmer lotion (although I don’t use that one because when I did, I looked like a freaking vampire)

See, that one isn’t as bad. It’s stuff that I actually want there.

Then we have, as I like to call it, the Sacred Shelf. You’ll see why it’s sacred in just a moment. So, it has a couple of rows here.. The back of the shelf has:

  • All of the Harry Potter discs and a bonus one called On the Run
  • All of the Glee box sets
  • All of the Once Upon a Time box sets

I know, heaven right?

Then just in front of those, is my DVD player and I stack some things on top of that because I am a rebel who lives life on the edge and doesn’t listen to the rules of the DVD player manual:

  • All of my Sims expansion pack boxes, in order of release – I’m only missing Into the Future and yes I am just that sad
  • An alarm clock that I don’t use as an alarm but I can read the time so yay!

And that my friends, is the Sacred shelf

Below there, we have my shelf of random school stuff… Probably, you have some sort of an idea of what’s in here… But I’ll tell you anyways

  • Old History and Spanish books
  • A whopper of a dictionary
  • Both Girl Online books (no idea why they’re there…)
  • A pencil case
  • A random plug that I think works with my old phone
  • Several decks of cards
  • A French dictionary
  • A Thesaurus
  • A pack of fine liners.

That just about covers my entire desk, and if you’re really bothered, my hair dryer box is under it but that doesn’t really count.

Is your desk as cluttered as mine?

Thank you SO much for reading! Make sure to like and follow if you like my blog and leave any thoughts or suggestions in the comments.
