Positivity!

Hi,

I’m Just Average Teen Me. Today, I realised that a lot of the time, I’m focusing on things that aren’t too amazing in my life here on this blog… And I want to change that. I want this tiny speck of the internet to be somewhere that we can spread positivity, and forget about the bad things going on around us…. Although, every once in a while I will probably need to ask for some advice when I’m in an awkward situation….

So, today I am going to be telling you all some of the positive things in my life, the things that make me happy and are going really well. First of all, I’ll start with last night. I went to something (I can’t give the name away because it will give away where I live) but my sister Lakota (BAM another codename!) was performing there. As a singer. She wants to write songs when she’s older so she thought why not get herself out there and do it! You’ve got to start somewhere! What made me so happy, was that there were people, there, that she was having an impact on. There was what looked like a Dad, and his daughter, dancing to her songs and I couldn’t help but feel all happy on the inside… And at one point my Grandma arrived with my Granddad and stood there dancing awkwardly while my Granddad was just watching like a normal person. 😀

Another thing is that in 3 days, I will receive my signed Girl Online On Tour by Zoella!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait at all! SO SO EXCITED! I hope it fits through the letter box…. If my mum’s out when it arrives we might not get it on the day! :O But anyways, I’m super excited for that!

I have friends. I know that might sound really weird, but if you had gotten into my thoughts this time last year then you’d have heard something like: “Oh… I’ll just have to cope with not having friends. It’s only however many years to go…. I could join a club for everyday!”. I would never have thought that I could end up with the friends I have now. So when I think about that, it makes me quite proud in a way, for not giving in, and actually trying to make friends…

It is Autumn! I love when it starts to get colder, and everything gets more cosy. Right now, there’s a candle burning that literally smells like Christmas and it is making me SO excited! Oh and in case you were wondering, it’s a Yankee candle called something with the word ‘seasonal’ in it I think…. The wrapper has been taken off so I’m not entirely sure…

Well, I think that’s enough for now, I quite like the idea of posts like this so I might do another at some point in the future.
